Talent Show 2007

talents.pngWallace High School’s Assembly Hall was packed to capacity last week for a talent show organised by the school’s Sixth Form Charity Committee. Fifteen acts competed in front of friends, families and teachers to raise money for The Children’s Hospice. A walk in the park

9706.jpgYears 8 -11 of The Wallace High School took “A Walk in the Park” this week to raise money for charity. The sponsored walk, part of the school’s exciting “Beyond the Classroom 2006″ initiative, saw over 700 pupils and staff enjoy the summer sunshine to walk at least five laps of Wallace Park.

Lisburn’s new Mayor, Councillor Trevor Lunn, carried out the official opening of the event. He commented, “I am delighted that one of my first official duties as Mayor of Lisburn was to assist The Wallace High School’s “A Walk in the Park”. Read the rest of this entry »

The Big Bid
